John first became interested in music as a 4th grader, playing the recorder in primary school out on Long Island. He then joined the junior and high school bands. After graduating college, he played saxophone and sang with a touring show band. He attended Boston’s, Berklee College of Music and graduated with a bachelor's of music. After receiving his masters, from New York University, John began performing covers and his originals in clubs, cafes and colleges throughout the northeast.  He is a New York city-based singer/songwriter and producer who delivers an engaging, energetic and uplifting performance. Over his lenghty career John has worked and shared the stage with many talented musicians, producers & songwriters. Namely, John Sebastien, Pete Seeger, Tsiddi Leloka along with the cast of the Lion King, Academy Award winning composer Leonard Rosenman, and Grammy Award winning producer the late Arif Mardin. He performs as a duo or trio and is available to tour throughout the US. John holds an undergraduate degree from Berklee College of Music and a graduate degree MA in music from New York University. Since 1989 he has been recording and producing some of New York's emerging artists at Musicreations NYC, his upper west side recording studio. His music expresses the joy and energy of life while at the same time acknowledging that everyone faces difficulties and challenges. john has two CD's out to date. "Two Weeks From Tuesday", and "Come On With Me", which have received large national and Canadian airplay.
