John Russo is a singer/songwriter, music graduate, producer and
church elder from New York. This, his second album, is a fine
collection of songs that explore the interface between faith and
life. Opener "I'll Follow You" expresses pure devotion to our
faithful, loving Creator God, while "Hearts Broken" explores the
struggles: "The shadows that we hold inside/The darkness that we
try to hide/Are part of who we are. And we struggle hard to find/A
life with dignity and grace/And we hope that it's not too late."
The realities of life, heartbreak and human weakness, the sometimes
confident, sometimes tentative, sometimes desperate reaching out to
the wonder and hope found in Christ - "Peter's Song" puts these
struggles in the mouth of the apostle, desperate not to lose the
love of his Lord: "All I can say is no please don't go/Let me tell
you why/You are my whole world." Soulful vocals, fine musicians,
arrangements that give the songs room to breathe; a style you might
just call "singer/songwriter", an appeal that grows with repeated
listens.

John Russo is a Manhattan singer/songwrter who demonstrates he's a
man who knows his way around a "catchy" melody. He creates acoustic
pop in a highly contemporary fashion built around his soulful
voice. The overall feel of the album is very upbeat- There's
something delightful about the songs and the whole effect of this
album.
-COVER Magazine John Russo is a multi-talented native New Yorker who can take the
edge off living in the "Big Apple".

When I first heard from John Russo, I knew there was something special about him. Every now and then an artist comes along, who has the talent, the know-how, the professionalism and the ambition to succeed in this business . John has an incredible voice the kind of voice you want to hear more of. It cradles you, gently sways you back and forth, like lying in a hammock on the beach in St. Lucia. And "mon congrats" on the excellent musicianship that backs up John. Paul Cabri has flawless rhythm on guitars and mandolin. Lyrical depth and seductive sound characterizes the music of these New York natives. The John Russo mixes a nightcap of vibrant and versatile acoustic rock covers and originals that renews our spirit in the form of melodic ballads and up-tempo rhythms. Still riding high on the success of his current hits "Hearts Broken" which have already topped the Canadian radio at the #2 spot CHRM/ CHOE radio means that his success is inevitable. JR "is a true professional in every sense of the word."
New York Press: Russo's laid back, James Taylor-styled contemporary music reflects his musical influence. It also reveals his educated and heart-felt experience in the music world. His music and lyrics are reflective of deep spirit and thought. His album "Come On With Me", album is an eclectic variety of different musical styles and has received large national and Canadian airplay. Listening this smooth, subtle CD reveals that John knows his craft well.

"Bluesy adult contemporary boasting superb guitarwork and better
than average vocals. The tracks range from soft balladeering to
smoking blues, with great lyrics, production and delivery... One of
the most pleasant surprises I've come across all year, this is an
excellent album with a great feel..."
